After the Fact

After the Fact (AtF) is a comprehensive training and assessment tool for crime scene investigators which address the seven criteria for crime scene investigation:

Through the innovative use of video and still photography, After the Fact allows an investigator to “walk through” a virtual crime scene and provides for realistic scene processing including: photography, note taking, collection, labelling and packaging.

Questions relevant to the case scenario are presented to the investigator for external peer assessment.

All information for assessment, including case note, photographs, answers to set questions, and a comprehensive audit trail are available to facilitate efficient on-site or off-site assessment.

A range of scenes are available, including Stolen Motor Vehicle and Armed Robbery, Bar-room Brawl and Rape. Further scenes will be made available on an annual basis.
